Fall Movie Night

The air is crisp and cooler! The perfect reason to host a movie night.
One of the most fun get togethers we ever had was a movie night. We put up a big white sheet on the outside of the house in the backyard. We invited friends and their children and had a cookout! The kids all sat on blankets and had pizza and popcorn while we were cooking and had a ball!
We borrowed a movie projector to show the movie on. After dinner you can always pick a classic such as "Gone with the Wind" for the adults to see or any old fun classic movie! Easy for you and so much fun! We wanted to show a fun storyboard to match the occasion. Happy Viewing Scarlet!!

Chocolate!

Chocolate according to Wikipedia, "While chocolate is regularly eaten for pleasure, there are potential beneficial health effects of eating chocolate. Cocoa or dark chocolate benefits the circulatory system. Other beneficial effects suggested include anticancer, brain stimulator, cough preventor and antidiarrhoeal effects."
POTENTIAL HEALTH EFFECTS!! That's enough for me, let's eat!!

She Sells Seashells by the Seashore

Click picture to see larger

Say it three times fast! I can remember always, always being fascinated by sea shells! There was something magical about driving to the beach when I was little and knowing we were getting close to the ocean. That huge body of water was going to be seen out that car window and straining until I saw it! Then there it was, beautiful and full of wonder. I still hardly ever pick up a shell at the beach and don't put it to my ear! It is like the angels are singing. In honor of my fascination with sea shells, I just had to show some pictures of shells and things that make me want to load up the car and go! Enjoy and happy shelling!

Wild Birthday Parties!!

Children's parties can be so much fun and so much work! I love the idea of keeping them very simple. I guess you could say a throw back to the good ole days! Making paper crafts at the parties, such as origami animals, like giraffes for example! I also love the idea of entertainment being puppet shows, pin the tail on the donkey or giraffe, having the kids draw simple pictures related to the party theme. These pictures, or miniature works of art can later be placed on note cards for the moms and sent to them with the thank yous! We can do that for you at Lemon Lizard! I guarantee a parent will never forget your party when they receive such a special gift!
On this Giraffe Storyboard we are featuring our Giraffe Invite. We love this theme! The brown and white stripes with the giraffe face can also be placed on invites, note cards, stickers or gift tags perfect to place on treat bags. The adorable giraffe cupcakes are perfect for any tired little world traveler just back from a grand expedition! We have added some cute party supplies and you have got your safari!
